We use the large truck mount extractors which is considered the number one method recommended by those who actually make carpet! This method is used by about 80% of the professionals out there. Although this is an expensive method for the professional (meaning us) we feel the cleaning we are able to do more than justifies the cost for us so that your experience with SpringTime Carpet Cleaners is second to none.
When we are preparing for your job we generally run through seven steps to prepare for your job.
We will give you an exact quote, although you must understand that some jobs can escalate due to unforeseen issues.
We prep the job by clearing some things off the floor that may be there such as shoes, books, chairs and breakable items on the furniture so we can move the furniture without problems; at an added cost we are prepared to move cabinets, dressers, etc
Next we pre-treat your carpet with pre-spotter for the bad areas. We have a Few different spot removers for various types of spots. We can even remove dye from different drinks and juices. Removing red dye may be an additional cost, depending on the type of carpet. Some carpets cannot be stained by Red Drinks and therefore wash out easy at no additional charge.
We move furniture away from the wall as we need to clean back there too! We then will put the specially designed tools on our hoses to really clean the edges and along the baseboards and clean that first. this takes time but the end results is perfection! This is why we can proudly say “we clean the corners that others cut!”
We then clean behind the furniture. We put it back and place the carpet and furniture protects under the furniture legs where they are needed. We then move on to clean the rest of the room and finally we will brush and groom the carpet as well.
We also will clean your closets this same way if you will take your belongings out. Please Note: If you long clothes or dresses are to close to the floor they will have to be put up or taken out of we will just clean up to them! Also some larger closets such as walk-in closets may require an extra charge.
For hallways we again start at the corners and around those baseboard making sure those are cleaned first. This is something we pride ourselves own so there is no additional charge when we do this! The only time we have ever had to charge for some kind of additional cleaning to the baseboard areas in hallways is when it is nearly beyond the normal cleaning.
By far, the most of what I have learned about cleaning has been learned by just going out there over 23,000 times and getting it done and done right. Having said that, I believe the Lord has helped me tremendously in how to solve problems and really master the art of Carpet Cleaning!
As a matter of fact I have been to several trade conventions and have never even heard anyone talk about cleaning steps or really breaking down the fundamentals behind what they are doing. We feel its God’s gift from above to give us the wisdom and knowledge to clean carpet better.
